Job summary

Opti Staffing Group is seeking a skilled Drafting/Programmer in NE Portland, OR to join a fast-paced shop environment. You will create shop fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and Mastercam, translate drawings into buildable shop drawings, and write CNC code to ensure precise production.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years AutoCAD and Mastercam experience, strong blueprint interpretation, and familiar with architectural woodworking.

Qualifications

• 2+ years AutoCAD experience.
• 2+ years Mastercam programming for CNC.
• Strong ability to interpret blueprints and renderings for fabrication.
• Familiarity with architectural woodworking and detailing.

Responsibilities

• Create shop fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and Mastercam for CNC machinery.
• Translate architectural and interior design blueprints or renderings into accurate, buildable shop drawings.
• Write code and program CNC equipment to ensure efficient, precise production.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency in a high-production environment.
