About the Role

Emerson Mansfield, manufacturer of engineered-to-order safety pressure relief valves, is seeking a CNC Programmer in Mansfield, MA. This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic, high-tech production environment and to join a dedicated team committed to outstanding service.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with tool design engineers, supervisors, and schedulers to develop efficient and safe machine processes for new and existing products.
2. Use CAM software to create CNC programs for lathe and milling machines.
3. Create controlled documentation for machine setups.
4. Improve and revise tooling, fixturing, and programs on CNC machines with minimal guidance.
5. Innovate and implement cost reduction and safety improvement processes.
6. Develop accurate time estimates for machining process routings.
7. Assist operators with daily machining and tooling issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining/programming experience or an Engineering/Industrial Technology Degree.
• Experience with multi-axis mill and lathe CNC machines.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T and trigonometry.
• Ability to interpret engineering blueprints and drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with CAD and CAM software such as Esprit, Edgecam, or MasterCAM.
• Knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, Mazak controllers.
