Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist in Lynchburg, VA to join an industry-leading manufacturing company that produces custom products for a wide range of clients. Interpret blueprints, program and set up CNC machines, and perform regular inspections to ensure precision and safety.

Operate lathes, mills, grinders and drills, measure with precision tools, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and machine programming.
• Solid knowledge of lathe operation, mill operation, grinding, drilling, and tooling.
• Skilled in using precision measurement tools and equipment calibration.
• Exceptional troubleshooting abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good physical condition and stamina to perform repetitive tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities
