Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer in Grandview, MO to lead programming and machining initiatives in a fast-paced production environment. You will develop new CNC programs, design tooling, and act as a technical leader for metal machining operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with CNC programming, setup, and machine operation.
• Strong knowledge of machine shop practices and metal machining processes.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and 2D/3D models.
• Experience designing tooling and developing machining processes.
• Previous leadership experience guiding individuals and teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for new and existing products.
• Set up and operate manual and CNC machining equipment.
• Program multiple machine platforms including horizontal/m Vertical mills and sub-spindle lathes.
• Design tooling, fixtures, and efficient machining processes.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and 2D/3D models.
• Troubleshoot programming, tooling, setup, and production issues.
• Improve cycle times, equipment effectiveness, quality, and efficiency.
• Lead machining initiatives and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Support continuous improvement projects across the operation.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and on-time production.
