Torrey Holistics is seeking a proactive Manufacturing Engineer to lead process development in a high-mix, low-volume environment. You will optimize workflows, program 5-axis CNC machines, and implement automation to boost flexibility and throughput.

The role blends design collaboration with continuous improvement, applying lean and Six Sigma methodologies, CAD/CAM tooling, and rigorous documentation to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across production lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments.
• Strong 5-axis CNC programming and automation integration experience.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and G-code programming.
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Optimize manufacturing processes for a wide variety of complex parts.
• Program and troubleshoot 5-axis CNC machines using MasterCam.
• Design and implement automation to enhance throughput and flexibility.
• Collaborate with design, production, and automation teams to resolve challenges.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (lean and Six Sigma).
• Document machining processes, programs, and automation workflows.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
