Job summary

Laborup is seeking a CNC Programmer to own full process development from print to production. You will program complex 3-, 40-, and 5-axis CNC parts in Mastercam, design fixturing in SolidWorks, and prove out programs on the floor with machinists.

You will generate collision-free toolpaths, optimize tool life, and build complete machining strategies from drawings and GD&T callouts, including fixture design and in-process verification.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Mastercam programming experience.
• Multi-axis CNC mill programming experience.
• 5-axis 3+2 programming experience.
• Strong understanding of GD&T.
• Reads complex engineering drawings and models.
• Close-tolerance milling environment experience.
• Knows cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and workholding.

Overview

We're hiring a CNC Programmer for our aerospace, defense, and semiconductor precision machine shop outside Philadelphia.

This isn't a desk job where you generate G-code and move on. You'll own manufacturing processes from print to production: programming complex 5-axis milling in Mastercam, designing your own fixturing and tooling in SolidWorks, and proving out programs on the floor with the machinists who run them.

• 5-axis 3+2 programming experience

Preferred

• 5-axis simultaneous machining experience
• Hands-on machining and setup background
• Vericut simulation experience
• SolidWorks fixture design experience
• Probing routines and in-process inspection programming
• Custom Macro B programming
• Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
