Job summary

Quickparts is seeking a CNC Programmer to transform engineering prints into precisely machined parts, ensuring quality and efficiency. You will be pivotal in our manufacturing processes, working with cutting‑edge technology to deliver components that meet the highest standards.

As part of the machining team, you will program CNC machinery, set up operations, and perform in-process quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years hands-on machining experience.
  • 1+ year CNC programming experience.
  • Ability to read engineering prints and specs.
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software for part programming.

Responsibilities

  • Program CNC machinery to produce parts from prints and verbal instructions.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines with minimal supervision.
  • Perform basic operations on manual machinery as needed.
  • Assist in efficient setup of CNC equipment for production runs.
  • Interpret engineering prints, drawings and specifications.
  • Use CAD/CAM software for programming and optimization.
  • Conduct in-process quality checks with precision tools.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Program CNC machinery to produce parts accurately from prints and verbal instructions
  • Set up and operate CNC machines independently with minimal supervision
  • Perform basic operations on manual machinery as required
  • Assist in the efficient set‑up of CNC equipment for production runs
  • Interpret and work from engineering prints, drawings, and specifications
  • Utilize various CAD/CAM software effectively for part programming and optimization
  • Conduct in‑process quality checks using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure parts meet specifications
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on machining experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of CNC programming experience
  • Proven ability to machine parts accurately according to print specifications
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency with CAD/CAM software
  • High school diploma or equivalent required (Technical school diploma or equivalent certification in CNC Machining/Programming preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work
  • Good reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others and consistently follow operational guidelines
