Job description

SMV Recruiting is seeking a CNC Programmer for our manufacturing client in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience programming CNC machines, preferably Matsuura, Siemens, Fanuc, and Haas, using Fusion 360, MasterCAM, and SolidWorks. Responsibilities:

1. Program 12+ 3-axis and/or 5-axis CNC machines such as Matsuura, Siemens, and Fanuc.
2. Use Fusion 360, MasterCAM, and SolidWorks to develop machine programs.

4. Create step-by-step processes for operators to follow.
5. Train operators and potentially step into a managerial role.
6. Assist on the production floor when needed.

Requirements:

1. Experience programming with MasterCAM or Fusion 360.

3. Ability to optimize processes for faster production.
