Job summary

BestLogic Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join a precision aerospace manufacturing client in New York. The role involves developing, testing, and optimizing CNC milling programs to drive efficiency and quality in a fast-paced production environment.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams, interpret engineering drawings and GD&T, and contribute to continuous process improvements while maintaining thorough programming

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software and CNC programming; able to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize CNC programs for milling operations.
• Program custom components and tooling for production applications.
• Develop machining methods and tooling strategies.
• Set up and support CNC milling machines during production.
• Test, troubleshoot, and validate CNC programs on production equipment.
• Modify programs to reflect engineering changes and product revisions.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining efficiency.
• Maintain programming documentation and revision control.
• Support process improvements to reduce cycle times and improve quality.
• Ensure all programs meet safety, quality, and customer requirements.

Position Summary

The CNC Programmer will develop, test, and optimize CNC machining programs used to manufacture precision components.
