BW Papersystems is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to become an integral part of our team! In this role you will write, code, test and analyze programs for numerically controlled machinery. The programmer will also analyze and amend program errors.
Job Responsibilities:
Research and document requirements of machine users; prepares and documents specifications.
Use GD&T principles to interpret and analyze blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of standard processes.
Maintain program files and makes backup copies of machine control programs; communicates changes in controls to appropriate parties
Communicate effectively and solve problems independently while interacting with various teams and teammates on daily processes and flow
Multi-task various duties throughout the day, having the ability to be versatile and flexible.
Essential Competencies:
Perform advanced shop mathematics
Read and understand GD&T drawings
Interpret machine tool programs
Utilize electronic controls
Apply knowledge of machine shop processes
Understand programming language and read code line by line
Operate Microsoft Office Programs, SolidWorks, and Esprit
Basic Qualifications & Requirements:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
2+ years of CNC programming experience
2+ years of working experience in an industrial machining environment
