AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist for a direct-hire role in Adelanto, CA. The ideal candidate will program, set up, and operate CNC equipment, troubleshoot issues, and produce high-quality parts on a Monday–Friday schedule.

You will read blueprints, GD&T, and machining specs, select tooling, and document processes while supporting a clean, safe shop and continuous improvement within a collaborative team.

Formación

• 3 to 5 years of CNC machining, programming, setup, and operating experience.
• Experience with CNC mills, lathes, horizontal mills, and vertical boring mills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Skilled with micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to work independently and with engineering and quality teams.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machinery to produce precision parts.


• Complete machine setups including tooling, fixtures, offsets, workholding, and machining strategies.


• Work with CNC mills, CNC lathes, horizontal mills, and vertical boring mills.


• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and machining specifications.


• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.


• Troubleshoot machining issues, make adjustments, maintain production documentation, and support preventative maintenance.

• Experience with tooling selection, offsets, fixtures, workholding, and machining strategies.


• Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and resolve quality concerns.


• Skilled in using precision inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality parts.


• Ability to work independently while collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Production Control, and shop leadership.


• Commitment to following safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
