Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for a direct hire opportunity in Adelanto, CA. This role is ideal for a skilled CNC Machinist with strong programming, setup, troubleshooting, and operating experience who takes pride in producing precision‑machined components in a quality‑driven manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment to produce precision‑machined components.
  • Perform complete machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, offsets, workholding, and machining strategies.
  • Operate CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Horizontal Mills, and Vertical Boring Mills.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and machining specifications.
  • Inspect completed parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
  • Maintain production documentation, support preventative maintenance, and follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Direct hire opportunity.
  • Pay range: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on experience.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Program CNC equipment and develop machining strategies for precision components.
  • Perform full CNC machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, offsets, and workholding.
  • Operate and troubleshoot CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Horizontal Mills, and Vertical Boring Mills.
  • Support quality, safety, documentation, and continuous improvement in a production environment.
  • 6 to 10 years of CNC machining, CNC programming, setup, and operating experience.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining specifications.
  • Experience with precision inspection tools, including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
  • Knowledge of tooling selection, feeds and speeds, offsets, workholding, and machining best practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and make accurate adjustments to maintain quality and production standards.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, problem‑solving ability, and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to work well with Engineering, Quality, Production Control, and shop leadership in a team‑oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a high‑precision or quality‑driven manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting process improvements, setup reduction, and machining efficiency initiatives.
  • Cross‑functional experience working with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams.
