Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Grinder for a direct hire opportunity in Chatsworth, CA supporting precision manufacturing for the aerospace industry. This role is ideal for a skilled CNC machining professional who takes pride in producing high-quality components to tight tolerances and wants to join a stable, growing manufacturing environment.

The CNC Grinder will set up and operate CNC grinding equipment, read blueprints, perform inspections, and troubleshoot machining or quality issues. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC grinding machines to produce precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to verify quality and tolerance requirements.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools to inspect finished parts.
• Troubleshoot machining, setup, tooling, and quality issues during production.
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $28 to $38 per hour, depending on experience.
• Job type: Direct hire
• Location: Chatsworth, CA.
• Day Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
• Swing Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Set up and operate CNC grinding machines for precision aerospace components.
• Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to complete machining requirements.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot machining and quality issues to maintain production standards.
• 3 or more years of CNC machining or CNC grinding experience.
• CNC setup and CNC operation experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, and inspection tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
• Must meet ITAR requirements as a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Must pass background and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing or precision component production.
• Experience producing parts to tight tolerances.
• CNC grinding experience in a high-quality, regulated manufacturing environment.
