Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience.
  • Proficient in CNC programming, setup, and operation.
  • Able to read drawings, blueprints and GD&T.
  • Skilled in selecting tooling and determining feeds and speeds.
  • Capable of maintaining quality and safety documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment to produce components.
  • Perform complete machine setups including tooling, fixtures, and offsets.
  • Read engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining specs.
  • Inspect parts with precision measuring tools and document results.
  • Maintain documentation and support preventative maintenance.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment to produce precision‑machined components.
  • Perform complete machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, offsets, workholding, and machining strategies.
  • Operate CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Horizontal Mills, and Vertical Boring Mills.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and machining specifications.
  • Inspect completed parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
  • Maintain production documentation, support preventative maintenance, and follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Direct hire opportunity.
  • Pay range: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on experience.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Program CNC machines to manufacture precision components.
  • Set up and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, horizontal mills, and Vertical Boring Mills.
  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and programming issues.
  • Inspect parts and complete required production and quality documentation.
  • Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with CNC programming, machine setup, and operation.
  • Strong experience with CNC milling and CNC turning.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, machining specifications, and GD&T.
  • Strong understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling selection, fixtures, workholding, and machining practices.
  • Proficiency using precision measuring equipment and metrology tools.
  • Technical college diploma or equivalent machining experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem‑solving ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity.
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Horizontal Milling and Vertical Boring Mills.
  • Conventional machining experience.
  • Continuous improvement mindset in a custom manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with Engineering, Quality, Production Control, and Supervisors to resolve manufacturing challenges.
