Job summary

Adecco is seeking a CNC Operator for 1st shift (Mon-Fri). You will operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts following SOPs and blueprints, while ensuring quality and safety. This role emphasizes clean records, adherence to specs, and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience with mills and lathes; basic tool setup knowledge is a plus. Training is available for motivated individuals.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or equivalent; technical CNC training preferred.
  • Experience as CNC Operator/machinist with mills and lathes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints/engineering drawings/SOPs.
  • Familiarity with measurement tools and QC techniques.
  • Willing to train candidates who show initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines including loading/unloading materials, installing tools, and configuring machine parameters.
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Make adjustments to machines and processes to correct defects and maintain quality output.
  • Maintain accurate records of production runs, materials used, machine settings, and issues.
  • Report deviations to supervisor and suggest improvements.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Continuous improvement highly encouraged

Job description

1st Shift M-F

Candidates will be responsible for operating CNC Mill and Lathe machinery to produce precision parts according to SOP’s and blueprints. This role involves ensuring high-quality production while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machines including loading and unloading materials, installing tools, and configuring machine parameters.
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances of machined parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Make necessary adjustments to machines and processes to correct defects and maintain high-quality output.
  • Maintain accurate records of production runs, including materials used, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
  • Report any significant deviations or defects to the supervisor and suggest improvements.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Continuous improvement highly encouraged
Qualifications:
  • HS diploma or equivalent (technical certification or vocational training in CNC machining is preferred)
  • Experience as a CNC Operator/machinist preferably with a focus on mills and lathes
  • Experience with CNC set-up and software is a plus not required.
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints/engineering drawings/SOP’s
  • Familiarity with measurement tools and quality control techniques
  • Basic computer skills for programming and machine control
  • Willing to train candidate that show initiative

Pay Details: $52,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
