Job summary

Heller Machine Tools LP is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead automotive and machine tool projects, coordinating design, build, and shipment activities. The role requires strong liaison with customer engineering and Heller Germany teams to ensure alignment on layouts, facilities, and spare parts for multiple project lines.

Responsibilities include preparing progress reports, managing schedules, and coordinating installation and acceptance at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field.
• 5–10 years of Program Management experience in automotive or machine tool industries.
• Minimum 10 years automotive and machine tool experience.
• Program Manager Certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in on-going technical liaison with customer product engineering on necessary part design issues.
• Coordinate between customer and Heller Germany Engineering and Program Management for machine, process, tooling and fixture design.
• Provide monthly progress reports to customer in Gantt chart form using project management software.
• Maintain and report on open issues lists and change requests.
• Travel to customer plants for program launches and installations when needed.
