Job summary

HELLER is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong 5-axis experience to develop machining processes and CNC applications for customer projects across the US. You will lead tool/fixture design, perform CAM programming, and coordinate engineering activities with internal teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities include feasibility assessment, runoff support, and project planning to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery. A minimum 4-year engineering degree and machining background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 year mechanical engineering degree.
• Machining / machine tool experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust machining/processing solutions for universal product applications.
• Tool and clamping fixture technology and processes.
• Application: CAM programming, simulation/verification of technology processes; programming for machining tests and machine test/tryout; support during runoff/service and design of CNC programs.
• Project Management: ensure project management for customer projects; effort control for processing activity; overall project monitoring of engineering and costs; planning and securing capacities.
• Project Field Evaluation and Implementation: technical sales support/evaluation; feasibility assessment; participate in test and commissioning; validation of design.
