Job summary

Norsk Hydro in Sidney, Ohio, is seeking a capable CNC Lead Operator for First Shift (6:00am–2:30pm) to independently run production equipment and support daily production activities.

You will lead internal and external problem-solving, monitor productivity, safety, and quality, and coordinate the hourly workforce under the supervisor. A HS diploma, 5 years manufacturing experience, and 3 years of leadership are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 3 years leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and support production activities.
• Lead problem-solving and corrective action processes.
• Ensure compliance with work instructions, safety, and quality standards.
• Engage with operators and coordinate the hourly workforce under supervision.
• Monitor productivity, safety, and quality to meet customer requirements.
• Assist in scheduling product flow to support production needs.
• Develop and implement new processes and procedures.
• Promote safety, continuous improvement, teamwork and operational excellence.
