Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking a Production Supervisor in Vernon, CA to direct activities within the operations team focused on production, inventory management and quality. The role requires leadership in a machine shop, with heavy emphasis on CNC/Machining and lean processes.

The workweek is Monday–Friday, 6 am–3 pm, with eligibility for day‑1 benefits. Responsibilities include supervising the Machining department (Manual & CNC), applying CI tools, planning production, and tracking KPIs to

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a machine shop environment.
• Solid experience in CNC machining.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools (AMEF, VSM, 6's, SMED, etc) and Continuous Improvement tools.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel.
• Proven team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Machining department (Manual & CNC).
• Implement Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing tools (AMEF, VSM, 6's, SMED, etc).
• Statistical control of the process.
• Production planning in different work centers.
• Management of KPIs (utilization, efficiency, productivity, scrap, rework).
• Analysis for the solution of problems in lean manufacturing.
