Job summary

Flowserve in Vernon, CA, is seeking Production Supervisors to direct the Machining department (Manual & CNC). You will promote safety, oversee production, inventory, and quality, and implement Lean/CI tools while maintaining policies.

Responsibilities include statistical control, production planning across work centers, and KPI management (utilization, efficiency, scrap, rework). Candidates need at least 5 years in a machine shop leadership role and strong CNC experience; a BS/BA in Mechanical

Qualifications

• At least 5 years leading a team in a machine shop.
• Strong CNC machining experience.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools (AMEF, VSM, 6's, SMED) and CI methods.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Proven team management and problem-solving abilities.
• BS/BA in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
• Experience in a Union setting preferred.
• Experience with ISO-9000/14000 and welding standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Machining department (Manual & CNC).
• Implement continuous improvement and Lean tools (AMEF, VSM, 6's, SMED).
• Statistical control of the process.
• Production planning across different work centers.
• Management of KPIs (utilization, efficiency, productivity, scrap, rework).
• Analyze and solve lean manufacturing problems.
• Other duties as assigned.
