Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Production Scheduler in Alsip, IL to translate demand into executable production plans. The role balances capacity, materials, and priorities while driving accountability, agility, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of production scheduling or planning experience.
• 2+ years of experience scheduling in a CNC manufacturing environment.
• 1+ years of experience with SAP and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned to customer demand and capacity.
• Coordinate with Production, Inventory Control, Purchasing, and Engineering teams.
• Monitor schedule adherence and proactively resolve constraints.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage work orders and priorities.
• Communicate schedule changes, risks, and recovery plans clearly.
• Mitigate COGI errors.
• Analyze performance metrics to improve planning effectiveness.
