Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Senior Production Planner in Chicago, IL to own end-to-end production planning. You will develop the master production schedule, manage capacity constraints, and align cross-functional teams to meet customer demand while controlling costs and inventories.

The role requires strong ERP/MRP experience and collaboration across Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Procurement. The position is onsite at our Chicago site with a focus on data-driven decision making, scheduling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 7+ years in supply chain or production planning.
• 3+ years with ERP/MRP systems (SAP/Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the master production schedule (MPS) aligned to demand and capacity.
• Ensure finite scheduling to maximize throughput and minimize delays.
• Manage ERP/MRP data accuracy for inventory, BOMs, and planning settings.
• Review orders for capacity, materials, and design availability to meet dates.

1+ years of data flow knowledge
