Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Alsip, IL is seeking a Production Scheduler to translate demand into executable production plans for our pumps brands. You will balance capacity, materials, and priorities while coordinating with Production, Inventory Control, Purchasing, and Engineering teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, 2+ years in production scheduling, and experience with SAP and Excel. Onsite at Alsip with a strong focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of production scheduling or planning experience.
  • 2+ years of experience scheduling in a CNC manufacturing environment.
  • 1+ years of experience with SAP and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned to customer demand and capacity.
  • Coordinate with Production, Inventory Control, Purchasing, and Engineering teams.
  • Monitor schedule adherence and proactively resolve constraints.
  • Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage work orders and priorities.
  • Support IRX and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Communicate schedule changes, risks, and recovery plans clearly.
  • Mitigate COGI errors.
  • Analyze performance metrics to improve planning effectiveness.

Job Overview:

The Production Scheduler supports Ingersoll Rand's commitment to customer success by translating demand into executable production plans. Serving the IR Pumps, MP Pumps, and Oberdorfer brands, this role balances capacity, materials, and priorities while embracing accountability, agility, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned to customer demand and capacity. Coordinate with Production, Inventory Control, Purchasing, and Engineering teams. Requirements:
