Job summary

W3Global is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the entire production lifecycle—from customer requests and proposals to production, WIP tracking, delivery, and invoicing. The role emphasizes CNC machining, machine programming, blueprint interpretation, and translating customer needs into machining requirements.

The ideal candidate will understand shop-floor processes, manage multiple jobs, and coordinate with leadership to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to quality

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Production Management or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining and CNC programming.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/engineering drawings.
• Convert customer requirements into machining specifications.
• Experience managing jobs from RFQ to final delivery.
• Understanding of shop-floor production processes and WIP tracking.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and coordination with stakeholders.
• Hands-on manufacturing knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review customer RFQs and quotes.
• Develop and process proposals based on requirements.
• Manage from quotation through production and delivery.
• Prepare and maintain shop travelers and production docs.
• Track WIP and monitor production status.
• Coordinate with shop personnel to meet schedules.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Translate drawings into machining requirements.
• Apply CNC programming knowledge to support production.
• Identify and resolve production or machining issues.
• Coordinate final delivery and invoicing.
• Communicate status and priorities with leadership.
• Ensure customer specs, quality, and delivery targets are met.
