Job summary

CMMG in Boonville, MO is seeking a reliable Production Data Technician for a full-time, on-site role. The position combines hands-on machine tending with precise data entry and record-keeping to support CNC operations.

No prior CNC experience is required; comprehensive on-the-job training is provided. Ideal candidates will balance shop-floor activity with desk-based tasks, maintain accurate production records for orders, inventory, quality, and completions, and follow safety and PPE requirements

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multitask across hands-on and administrative duties.
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with ERP/production systems is a plus.
Basic problem-solving and quick learning for manufacturing workflows.

Responsibilities

Load/unload raw materials and finished parts safely and efficiently.
Stage and supply materials, tools, and components to machines to prevent downtime.
Perform routine machine care and report issues.
Enter and update production order data, completions, statuses, and discrepancies in ERP/MRP or similar systems.
Record QC results, inspection documentation, inventory, and work-in-process.
