Job summary

CMMG in Boonville, MO is seeking a Production Assembler to assemble/disassemble components and sub-systems per engineering prints and production aids. You will maintain a safe, organized workplace and ensure quality finished goods.

The role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work cross-functionally with Shipping, Quality Control, and other Production departments. On-site, full-time schedule 7:00a–3:30p, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Read, write, sort, check, count and verify numbers accurately.
• Follow engineering prints and written work instructions.
• Detect defects and report issues promptly.
• Multitask and work under tight deadlines.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Lift and manipulate materials up to 40 lbs.
• Stand or walk for 8+ hours.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods according to engineering prints and work instructions.
• Disassemble assemblies as required for rework or modifications.
• Label and prepare items for downstream processes.
• Assemble small parts and package with barcodes.
• Produce work safely and timely.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Inspect products for defects, damage and accuracy.
• Verify quantities and product types match orders.
• Ensure serial numbers match where applicable.
• Report defective items to Department Head promptly.
• Conduct frequent quality checks during production.
• Follow all documented prints and production aides.
• Perform daily cycle counts and verify material accuracy.
• Maintain organized workstation and follow safety PPE requirements.
• Collaborate with Shipping, QC and other departments.
