Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to program, setup, and operate multi-axis CNC machines (3-, 4-, and 5-axis) in a high-volume production environment near Charlotte, NC. You will read blueprints, apply GD&T, and execute tooling, feeds, and speeds with strong inspection discipline.

The role emphasizes process optimization, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to deliver high-quality components on time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T
• Experience with precision measuring instruments and quality inspections
• Strong understanding of tooling, feeds/speeds, offsets, chip management, and tool life optimization
• Troubleshoot machining processes and improve efficiency
• Experience with multi-axis CNC machines (3-, 4-, 5-axis) and mill-turn setups

Responsibilities

• Program, setup and operate multi-axis CNC machines to produce parts to print and work orders
• Interpret drawings and apply GD&T to verify features and tolerances
• Set up, operate and adjust CNC milling equipment for production runs
• Read blueprints, GD&T, and manufacturing drawings
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections with precision measuring equipment
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production to improve throughput and reduce scrap
