Job summary

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Press Brake Operator in Minneapolis to safely set up and operate manual sheet metal machines, aiming for quality parts and efficiency. You will work in a team, solving problems and driving process improvements on the shop floor.

Requirements include press brake experience, at least a high school diploma or technical training in sheet metal, and the ability to obtain a forklift license. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate Cincinnati CNC press brakes, CNC Mazak, Trumpf, and/or Amada lasers.
Run manual sheet metal machines.
Operate additional machines or processes to meet cycle times.
Perform cutting and shaping of metal for assembly or aftermarket needs.
Use measurement tools to drive part accuracy and minimize scrap.
Handle changeovers and troubleshoot to complete tasks.
Proficient in 2+ processes within the department.
Assist others in meeting quality expectations.
Act as agent of change on the shop floor.
