Job summary

Modine is seeking a skilled CNC press brake operator to set up and run equipment, bending sheet metal to print. You will interpret blueprints, select tooling, and verify tolerances to ensure quality parts.

Responsibilities include programming CNC controls, performing maintenance, and coordinating with engineering to resolve issues. The ideal candidate has 1+ year in manufacturing and can lift 50 lbs while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing environment; preferably press brake setup and operation.
• Must be able to read blueprints and use measuring instruments to determine the accuracy of setup.
• Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC fabricators, shear, spot weld and press brake equipment per print.
• Fabricate parts using various sheet metal fabricating tools and machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, bend diagrams, and tolerances
• Set up fabrication equipment to produce parts to print. Must be able to operate all department equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required.
• Input programs in CNC controls and make adjustments as necessary. Assumes responsibility for inspection of parts.
• Work with engineering to produce parts to print.
• Works in a safe manner and doesn't endanger others.
• Keeps accurate inventory of tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
