Job summary

Dalsin Industries in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Press Brake Operator to perform operations and supporting tasks across levels 1–3. You will read blueprints, set up simple jobs, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity on the shop floor.

Candidates should have basic blueprint reading, basic math, and familiarity with Cincinnati Press Brake controls. Training is available for complex setups and EPICOR transactions as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Press Brake experience desirable for L1, Required for all other levels.
• Advanced blueprint reading.
• Working knowledge of controls for Cincinnati Press Brakes (Windows based).
• Ability to calculate required tonnages and bend allowances.
• Ability to select proper tooling required to form a part.
• Ability to work on a variety of material types and thicknesses.
• Setup experience specific to level, department, or equipment.
• Sheet Metal Layout experience (Tangent Correction, Basic Bend Allowance etc.) Level 2 and up only.
• Understanding of Material Properties including Flatness, Surface Grades, Types, Gauge etc. Level 2 and up only.

Responsibilities

• Operate Press Brake safely when lead or others have setup and validated quality requirements for a specific part.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Perform EPICOR transactions logging in and out of jobs and recording quantity complete, scrapped.
• Perform simple setups on Press Brake using part drawings and bend simulations.
• Read and follow Shop Loads.
• Perform inspections using precision measuring and gauging equipment.
• Perform and document all Job/Routing/Quality procedures as directed.
• Perform material handling functions including packaging.
• Assemble, Load and Maintain Tooling, Fixtures, Jigs, Etc.
• Perform EPICOR transactions moving material from/to appropriate locations.
