Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a skilled CNC Press Brake Operator for a client in Vancouver, WA. You will set up, program, and operate Trumpf CNC press brakes to form sheet metal parts per drawings, focusing on quality and safety.

The role offers DAY and Swing shifts with pay between $22 and $26 per hour DOE. You will work in a climate-controlled facility and contribute to continuous improvement in healthcare equipment manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of CNC Brake Press operating experience (Trumpf preferred).
  • Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Proficiency with calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform machine and tooling setups and first article inspections.
  • Follow job travelers, engineering drawings and specs with precision.
  • Document quality checkpoints throughout forming process.
  • Operate Trumpf TruBend 7036/7050/5085 CNC presses and use server-stored programs.
  • Maintain organized, safe work environment and meet daily production targets.
  • Identify process improvements for efficiency and quality.

About the Role

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a highly skilled CNC Press Brake Operator for our client in Vancouver, WA as a long standing leader in the healthcare equipment manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating Trumpf CNC press brake machines to accurately bend and shape sheet metal components according to detailed specifications, requiring a keen attention to detail.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform machine and tooling setups and subsequent first article inspections
  • Follow job travelers, engineering drawings, and technical specifications with precision
  • Execute and document quality control checkpoints throughout the forming process
  • Utilize Trumpf TruBend 7036, 7050, and 5085 CNC Brake Presses, which access a server-stored library of part programs
  • Work independently and collaboratively to meet daily production targets while maintaining precise quality standards
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workstation in compliance with FDA and ISO manufacturing requirements
  • Identify and recommend process improvements for efficiency and quality enhancement
  • Proper retrieval and storage of materials and subassemblies to support production
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of CNC Brake Press Operating experience (Trumpf experience preferred)
  • Proficiency with calipers, angle gauges, micrometers, and other measuring devices
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
  • Ability to make computer entries of production quantities and quality checks
  • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work efficiently in a production environment while meeting quality standards
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work assignments
  • Continuous improvement mindset
Schedule and Pay

Train on DAY shift (M-F 6:30am-3:00pm), then move to SWING shift (M-Th 3pm-1:30am). Starting Pay $22-26/hr DOE (with differential once on Swing shift)
