Taylor Defense Products – Louisville, MS is seeking an entry-level CNC Operator Helper to support the fabrication team with loading/unloading materials and assisting with CNC operations. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or trade school preferred.
• Willingness to learn CNC operations and fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Assist CNC operators with loading and unloading raw materials (steel sheets, plate, and formed parts).
• Remove cut parts from laser-cut sheets and separate skeleton material.
• Sort and organize parts by job, part number, and downstream process.
• Place parts on designated pallets based on routing instructions.
• Ensure proper identification and traceability of parts.
• Perform basic visual inspections for defects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Support operators and supervisors with general shop tasks.
• Learn basic CNC functions and fabrication processes.
• Follow established safety, housekeeping, and environmental practices at all times.
