Job summary

Micro-Coax, an Amphenol Company, seeks a CNC Operator to support Swiss CNC machine operations, ensuring compliant parts and adherence to quality standards. The role requires performing inspections, adjustments, and changeovers within a safety-conscious environment.

You will inspect parts, adjust tooling, conduct in-process and final inspections, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining accurate data entry and documentation. High School Diploma or GED and CNC training are needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification or vocational training in CNC machining, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of machining processes, blueprints, and measurement tools preferred.
• On-the-job training or prior CNC operating experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Swiss CNC machines to ensure compliant parts.
• Inspect 100% of part characteristics for specification compliance.
• Identify and make basic adjustments to tooling and machines; escalate when non-conforming parts are detected.
• Convert raw materials into finished product using machines and/or hand-processing.
• Build product to standard rate.
• Perform in-process and final product inspections.
• Complete product and material changeovers as assigned.
• Access documentation and enter data via computer systems.
• Make process adjustments based on quality or process data.
• Support quality, cost, and on-time delivery goals.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
