Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow English instructions from process sheets or blueprints.
• Able to lift and maneuver heavy items safely in a shop environment.
• Follow the company’s timekeeping policies and other rules.
• Stand for an entire shift in a non-climate-controlled shop.
• Learn fundamental machining concepts and use measuring devices.
• Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to improve processes.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail for quality.
• Demonstrate reliability and consistent performance.
• Be adaptable to changing production demands with precision.

Responsibilities

• Follow production instructions from process sheets, blueprints, or supervisor.
• Install machine fixtures to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Set up and operate lathes, mills, drills, presses, and CNC machines.
• Inspect operations and measure finished parts for tolerances with calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Adhere to safety protocols, wear PPE, and keep the work area clean.
• Perform other duties as needed.
