Job summary

IES Infrastructure in Mount Joy, PA is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to run Plasma and Laser cutting systems on 1st and 2nd shifts. You will work in a fast-paced fabrication environment producing high-quality steel components to customer specifications.

Candidates should be able to read blueprints, set up machines, monitor operations, verify dimensions, and maintain safety and documentation. A $2,500 new hire bonus and a 2nd shift +15% differential are offered to qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Entry-level with machine operating experience encouraged.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC plasma and laser cutting equipment to produce steel components
• Set up and monitor machines according to job specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Verify material, dimensions, and finished parts for accuracy and quality
• Perform routine machine adjustments and troubleshoot basic operating issues
• Load and position materials safely using appropriate equipment
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
