Envista seeks a skilled Manufacturing & Operations technician in Mahwah, NJ to produce dental prosthetics. You will operate milling and additive manufacturing equipment, perform in-process QC, and support TPM tasks while following SOPs and GMP.

The role requires basic CNC programming knowledge, blueprint reading, and attention to safety. You’ll train on multiple production lines and help drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• GED, high school diploma or equivalent; basic CNC programming knowledge preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and GMP standards and safety regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret geometric tolerancing.

Responsibilities

• Operate milling/additive manufacturing equipment to produce dental prosthetics.
• Perform in-process QC inspections with microscopes and CMM tools.
• Set up tools, load/unload parts, and adjust tooling as SOP dictates.
• Carry out TPM tasks and support Kaizen improvements on the line.
• Maintain 5S and safety practices and participate in cross-training.

This includes machine operation and cleaning, handling secondary equipment and related processes such as: "in-process" inspection utilizing manual and automated inspection equipment along with visual inspection using a microscope, batching and mixing of ceramic materials, and set up/preset tools when required.ACCOUNTABILITIES –Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Work (SW) to produce restorative dental products while maintaining machines at maximum production levels and adhering to safety standards.Install and adjust milling tools and change operation to different products according to defined Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).Observe machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions.Inspect and test work pieces throughout the production run. Perform visual and functional in-process Quality Control (QC) inspections in accordance with Quality and Product Specifications/Requirements. Utilizes various inspection equipment such as hand measuring tools and Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
