Job summary

Aerotek in Antioch, TN is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to set up, operate, and monitor CNC machinery. The role requires reading blueprints, inspecting parts, and upholding safety and quality standards. This contract-to-hire position is onsite in Antioch.

You will collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams, perform routine maintenance, and maintain accurate documentation to support efficient manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Commitment to safety, quality standards, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, load materials, select tooling, and adjust settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and drawings to ensure tolerances.
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections with calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Monitor machine performance, apply offsets, troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain production and quality documentation.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep area clean.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance to meet goals.
