Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a CNC Operator for the G Shift in Richmond, KY. The ideal candidate will set up tooling, program and operate CNC machines to produce parts to tight tolerances, using Haas mills or Mitsubishi Wire EDM, and verify dimensions with precision measuring tools.

You will work Monday through Saturday 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, read and follow engineering drawings, document production activity, and maintain a clean, safe work area while supporting continuous improvement in a

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of CNC Programmer, Machinist, or Operator experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English; follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce parts meeting drawings and tolerances.
• Set up tooling/die components and test run programs before production.
• Maintain resources and clean, deburr, and inspect parts.
• Coordinate with planning/engineering/production to resolve issues.
• Record production activity and ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Keep work area clean and perform routine machine maintenance.
