Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Richmond, KY is seeking a CNC Programmer Machinist to setup and operate Haas CNC Mills and Mitsubishi Wire EDM. You will produce parts to precise tolerances from engineered drawings in a climate-controlled plant.

The shift is F Shift / 6:00PM-6:30AM, Monday - Wednesday, at our Richmond, KY facility. At least two years of CNC programming or machining experience is required along with a High School Diploma or GED and good English communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years' work experience as CNC Programmer or Machinist/Operator required.
• Some college or technical school preferred.
• Tool and Die experience or training preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machine to produce parts meeting drawings and specifications.
• Setup and program CNC tooling and dies.
• Test run programs before cutting operations.
• Maintain resources and files for efficient operation.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring equipment and document quality records.
• Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean and orderly.
