Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Richmond, KY is seeking a 3rd shift welder/operator to join a team producing precision metal assemblies. The role involves operating welding centers, supporting CNC machining, and deburring axels to meet quality standards.

You will perform quality checks, record data in the ERP system, and help maintain a safe, efficient production flow. A high school diploma or GED and the ability to stand 8–10 hours are required, with prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Stand for 8-10 hours daily; perform essential functions with/without accommodations.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English for safety and instructions.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Up to 90 days of training provided.
• 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding center equipment (MIG, spot, robotic, silicon bronze, manual) to meet specs and cycle times.
• Support CNC machine operations and deburring axles as needed.
• Perform quality checks and record data in the ERP system (PLEX).
