Challenge Manufacturing in Richmond, KY is seeking a CNC Programmer Machinist to setup and operate tooling to tight tolerances. You will program, test run, and run a CNC machine to produce parts per engineering drawings in a climate-controlled shop with Haas mills and Mitsubishi Wire EDM.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, at least two years’ CNC programming or machinist experience, and good English communication. Tool and die experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years' work experience as CNC Programmer or Machinist/Operator required.
• Some college or technical school preferred.
• Tool and Die experience or training strongly preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machine and create/edit NC programs.
• Test run programs prior to cutting to ensure accuracy.
• Adjust cutting parameters for materials as required.
• Inspect parts and maintain quality records.
