Job summary

Goodwill Industries of West Michigan, Inc. is seeking a CNC Operator for a full-time, temporary position in a fast-paced shop. The operator will run machines and produce quality parts while following 5S standards.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading parts, inspecting with calipers and micrometers, reading drawings and GD&T, recording time, and helping optimize workflow. Must have HS diploma or GED and be eligible to work on ITAR programs.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Good math and analytical skills are required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
• Ability to stand and work in a shop setting; maintain 5S standards.

Responsibilities

• Run machines and produce quality parts.
• Qualify parts using gages and metrology equipment.
• Read, interpret and apply GD&T drawings.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow 5S.
• Suggest workflow improvements to optimize efficiency.
