Dowding Industries, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of metal stampings and precision components. We seek a versatile operator to run CNC milling, laser cutting, and other shop equipment, read basic blueprints, and document daily outputs.

The role emphasizes a clean, safe work area, teamwork, and adherence to quality processes. Overtime may be required; candidates should be prepared to obtain Hi-Lo/crane certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic blueprint reading skills required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain various tools and machinery.
• Meet or exceed production requirements targeting 85% OEE.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
• Complete quality, manufacturing O.E.E., and tracking paperwork.
• Works with minimal supervision and direction.
• Move material to and from the cell; support of Hi-Lo and overhead crane.
• Performs inspections and uses SPC charting as needed.
• Reads simple drawings and process sheets.
