Job summary

Staffmark is hiring for a CNC Operator in Danielsville, PA. This role involves setting up and operating CNC lathes, reading blueprints, and applying GD&T to produce precision components. You will work Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

You should have CNC lathe setup/operating experience, familiarity with OkUMA/Mazak/Mori machines, and strong math and measuring skills to ensure quality and efficiency on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and GD&T requirements.
• Strong basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot CNC programs and document procedures.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes.
• Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes.
• Perform turning, drilling, bar-feeding, and live-tooling operations.
• Optimize setup times and machine utilization.
• Maintain offsets and adjust programs.
• Read blueprints and routing instructions.
• Apply GD&T requirements.
• Inspect parts with calipers and gauges.
• Report nonconforming products.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams.
• Document issues for shift transitions.
• Perform daily preventive-maintenance checks.
