Job summary

Advance CNC Machining – Grove City, Ohio is seeking a CNC Operator for our 2nd shift to operate Makino 4- and 5-axis CNC machining centers, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet quality standards.

You will load materials, change tools, run offsets, inspect with precision tools, and document production and inspection results while maintaining a clean, safe work area. This role offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus and solid benefits.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to read blueprints and understand basic GD&T
• Experience with precision measurement tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• CNC machining, machine operation, mechanical, maintenance, or manufacturing experience is a plus
• Experience with 4-5 axis Makino machines is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate Makino 4- and 5-axis CNC machining centers, many with automation
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, tolerances, and CMM reports
• Load materials, change tools, and make offsets
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and other precision measuring equipment
• Complete production and inspection documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

What You'll Do

As a CNC Operator, you'll be responsible for operating CNC machines and making sure the parts you produce meet our quality standards.

• OperateMakino 4- and 5-axis CNC machining centers, many with automation
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, tolerances, and CMM reports
• Load materials, change tools, and make offsets
• Inspect parts usingcalipers, micrometers, CMMs, and other precision measuring equipment
• Complete production and inspection documentation

Compensation & Benefits

• Up to $25/hour, depending on experience
• 401(k) with a 100% employer match up to $5,200 per year
• 80 hours of PTO in your first year, increasing annually up to 200 hours
