Job summary

Chandler Industries in Minnesota is seeking a CNC Operator for the second shift to run machines, deburr parts, and perform quality checks. You will replace tooling, maintenance, and monitor coolant levels while ensuring a clean, safe work environment and Lean improvements.

Basic blueprint reading and English communication are required. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Learn blueprint reading and inspection basics.
• Able to operate multiple CNC machines.
• Willingness to learn and maintain good attendance.
• Pass annual vision exam (20-20) where required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and perform standard sequences on various materials.
• Deburr parts and document quality checks per the control plan.
• Replace tooling and perform general machine maintenance.
• Load and unload workpieces and monitor process.
• Maintain coolant/hydraulic levels and perform routine PM checks.
• Ensure 5S standards and safety compliance; follow Lean principles.
• Utilize ERP for data collection, time and attendance.
• Participate in additional duties as assigned.
