Job summary

Chandler Industries, Inc. is seeking a CNC Operator for the second shift (3:30 pm - 2:00 am, Monday-Thursday) to operate and adjust CNC machines, deburr parts, and conduct quality checks per the control plan.

You will load/unload parts, perform routine maintenance, and help maintain a safe, organized shop floor in Long Prairie, MN. Requirements include a High School Diploma, basic math, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read blueprints and inspect parts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient reading, writing, oral communication and comprehension in English.
• Ability to learn basic blue print reading.
• Ability to learn basic inspection skills.
• Ability to adjust offsets if required.
• Ability to operate multiple machines.
• Willingness to learn.
• Punctual and good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operates and adjusts CNC machines to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations.
• Deburr parts and perform quality checks per the control plan.
• Replace tooling as necessary and perform general machine maintenance.
• Load and unload work-pieces and ensure proper setup.
• Monitor processes and inspect against blueprints/specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe operating conditions in the work area.
