Job summary

Norwood Medical is seeking a CNC Operator 1 to contribute to precision medical device components used in robotic-assisted and minimally invasive procedures. You will learn from experienced teammates, operate CNC production equipment, and help ensure quality through inspections.

Ideal candidates show commitment, reliability, and a drive to grow skills in a collaborative, safety-conscious environment located in Dayton, Ohio.

Qualifications

Demonstrated longevity of at least eight consecutive months in prior employment.
Must be able to read, write and conduct business in English.
Experience working on CNC machines.
Safety mindset and proper PPE usage.
Team-oriented and collaborative attitude.
Strong time-management and attendance reliability.
Willingness to adapt to temperature changes and overtime.
Eagerness to learn processes across areas.

Responsibilities

Read, follow and complete a company router and perform work as assigned by a Group Leader.
Operate one or more types of CNC production equipment.
Set appropriate CNC offsets and adjustments.
Perform tool changes as required.
Execute a manufacturing inspection plan and document results.
Troubleshoot common CNC machine issues and alarms.
Report defective material or questionable conditions.
Maintain and track daily production goals.
Collaborate with team and communicate work issues.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area; follow safety procedures.
