Job summary

Norwood Medical in Dayton, OH is seeking a dedicated CNC operator to join our manufacturing team. You will load materials, set up fixtures, and run programs on CNC machines, while maintaining safety and quality.

Excellent teamwork and reliability are valued; candidates should have at least eight months of relevant experience and be able to lift up to 35 pounds, with readiness to learn across areas.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform machine shop operations.
• Lift up to 35 pounds.
• Able to stand, sit, or move about the facility.
• Experience on CNC machines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as assigned by Group Leader.
• Load raw material into a CNC fixture utilizing pneumatic air guns and/or torque wrenches.
• Cycle start the CNC machine to execute the selected program.
• Detect and report defective material or questionable conditions to a Group Leader.
• Work as a team member and communicate work related issues as needed.
• Perform typical machine shop operations.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Comply with safety regulations and procedures.
