Job summary

Kennametal is seeking a CNC Operator I in Orwell, OH. The 2nd shift (3:00 pm–11:00 pm) runs multiple machines to produce parts to blueprint specifications, with setup, operation, loading, gauging, and documentation of inspections to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• 2 year technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple machines.
• Computer controlled setup using the HMI to make adjustment to programs or machines.
• Load and off-load product from multiple machines.
• Gage product to insure proper dimensions.
• Inspect and record inspection results according to process standards.
• Maintain tooling used in machines.
• Train new operators when required.
• Troubleshoot quality and machine issues from moderate to complex.
